Granulated Chlorine
Calcium hypochlorite is known by the commercial name Granulated Chlorine. Its chemical formula is Ca(CIO)2. It is a strong oxidizing agent, germicide, bactericide, disinfectant effective in: water purification, waste water treatment, swimming pools, etc.

Uses:
Aquaculture:
- In the case of shrimp farms, it is used to disinfect pools, raceways, and various utensils.
Agriculture:
- Disinfection of irrigation water and washing of fruits and vegetables, helping to control fungi and bacteria.
Water purification:
- It is an excellent disinfectant for drinking water treatment and reservoir cleaning as a germicide and bactericide, destroying organic materials.
Swimming pool maintenance:
- Effectively disinfects pool water and prevents bacterial proliferation and algae growth.
Industrial water treatment:
- Prevention of microbiological growth on cooling tower manifolds and others that produce biological fouling. In addition, it will improve efficiency in the maintenance process of pipes and equipment.
Meat industry:
- Disinfection of slaughterhouses, butcheries, sausage plants, and disinfection of waste water from different processes.
