Uses:
Aquaculture:
- It is a natural pesticide widely used in aquaculture to eliminate unwanted fish and harmful insects in ponds.
- It can prevent black gill disease in shrimp, help to control parasites, and also improve shrimp molting and growth.
- It can be used as a disinfectant agent for cleaning ponds due to its bactericidal functions, without harming the shrimp.
- Dissolves quickly in water and is not harmful to humans. It does not leave accumulated residue.
Agriculture:
- As a biological pesticide can be used as an insecticide or fungicide.
- It can be used in soluble powder herbicides or liquid herbicides to improve effectiveness. It may also reduce the dosage of herbicides used.
